How about a twin turbo rotary in the XRT?

Would drive all the patch X demo drifters nuts

I'm not competitive in any car so it really doesn't matter much that I drive the XRT.
I just don't like the FXO. And the RB4 is so different to drive, compared to the XRT, I don't want to confuse myself.

Somehow I've gotten this strange fixation in my head that a race car should be RWD.

FWD is for wussies who can't really drive. (Let's see what that comment stirs up )

Yes some other games upgrade cars and tracks. Actually they mostly release expansion packs and new versions. So it isn't really upgrading the product. But they almost never upgrade their physics. Which do you prefer good physics or bling? If you want bling go get one of the NFS games.

Besides, we just got a real car added to LFS. The second one I might add.

Go to pits.
Go to the INFO screen.
There on the right, just above the fuel percentage, it says how much fuel one lap takes.
Multiply it by the number of the laps you are going to drive.
Add a few percentages to be sure.
You are ready to go.

I know exatly how you feel.
It was the exact same for me when I was on the CTRA Race 1.

Try to race when they have a SO track. Start off slowly so you are left behind. Then as all the others crash and hit the walls and pit. You just cruise to points.

That's how I got my silver license.

Granted I haven't bothered to do extencive testing but I've been able to find two ways to burn the clutch while using autoclutch.

1. XRG
Select reverse. Go flat out against the limiter. Change to 1st, but don't lift. = Red clutch.
2. XRG Patch X30 something
RallyX on BL2. With default RX set, without lifting on the jumps. = Red clutch.
Patch Y with not so idiotic gearing and only slight lifting on jumps = No problem.

With the more powerfull cars the tyres lose grip way before the clutch = No problem.

Dajmin, have to agree with you there.
They think that with more hp (HP, PS, Hp or hP) or W (kW, MW, GW, TW, PW or EW) they are going to be faster and get smaller numerical values for their lap times.

Honestly I don't understand people who only stare at their lap times. I find racing with others much more interesting.

Why should LFS be like every other "simulator oriented racing game"?

If LFS was like all the others, who in their right mind would pay £24 for an ALPHA?

If LFS was like the others we wouldn't be playing it nor would we have this forum. Haven't heard any gaming house releasing an ALPHA state game to the market. Buggy crap, yes. Alpha, no.

I use Michelin because I have them on my real car too.

BTW are there any differences in LFS between the tyres?

I had another little glitch in the pits.
Even though I had set there to be no refueling at the pits I still was refueled. There came the text (Refueling) and InSim reported 9.xy liters being put in the tank. But when I checked the F12 screen there was no additional fuel.

Because it's the DEMO. The less content in the demo the sooner the demoers will buy a license.
